Jack Martin continues his commitment to Toledo and our young people by attending and presenting at the Manufacturing Day at Toledo Technology Academy on October 26, 2022.
“We need to invest in our young men and women so we can continue to fill manufacturing and technical jobs with the best talent available,” Jack Martin said.
Additionally, Mr Martin is involved with Junior Achievement efforts by participating in class room discussion and the JA Inspire annual career event. He has also created relationships within the Owens Community College Apprenticeship Program through the Toledo Chamber of Commerce Workforce Initiatives, again working to create opportunities for young people to learn about manufacturing opportunities.
About two times a year PD&B, Projects Designed & Built, Inc. hosts high school students in the building for tours and hands on experiences in the machining, welding and assembly areas of the business. Additionally, PD&B has hosted several high school students with daily and/or weekly shadowing opportunities.
“All these efforts require time and commitment but it’s a good investment in our manufacturing future.” Mr. Martin said.
