January 2, 2012. Projects Designed and Built, Inc., PD&B Inc, purchased a second building in October 2011 expanding the business for the fourth time in its thirteen year history and doubling its size again. With the purchase of 5935 American Rd. E next door, PB&B Inc. now encompasses 25,000 square feet. Ken Martin, President and owner, has commissioned the building of a connector between the two buildings that should be complete by mid January 2012.
PD&B Inc. manufactures custom automation and specialized machinery. It serves wide ranging industries including the food, material, and state-of-the-art product manufacturing. In 2011, more than sixty percent of PD&B’s machines shipped internationally to China, Mexico, Brazil, Hungary and the Netherlands. Past and current customers include Owens Illinois, Owens Corning, JAWS Cleaning System, Kraft/Cadbury, Spangler Candy, First Solar, Xunlight, Hydro Aluminum, Graham Packaging, Merillat, Kaiser Aluminum, SAPA, Johns Manville, Sauder and Rexam.
